Package Design

During my internship at Studio Heyho!, I had the opportunity to design the logo and packaging for a new brand that the Globus grocery chain is launching in the Dresden region of central Germany. The goal of this brand is to create a strong local identity, focusing on selling regional products that highlight the area’s unique offerings. The design needed to reflect both the authenticity of local goods and the trusted quality of the Globus brand.

One of the biggest challenges was competing against another agency that was also presenting a design proposal for the brand. My design needed to not only resonate with the target market but also stand out in terms of clarity, adaptability, and overall brand appeal. Additionally, the project required a balance between innovation and familiarity to ensure a seamless integration into Globus’s existing brand ecosystem.

After the final presentations, the client selected my design over the competing agency’s proposal, recognizing its strong visual identity and market appeal. The chosen design successfully communicates the brand’s values while ensuring high visibility on the shelves. This project was a valuable experience, allowing me to navigate the competitive nature of branding while refining my strategic design skills.
